Q: SMS/Text vs. Twitter?
A: With Twitter, customers can't opt-in from their phones (Twitter forces customers to go online and create a Twitter account, then find your business, then subscribe). Twitter does not support interactive campaigns (ie; Text-2-Join, Text-2-Win, Text-2-Vote, Text-4-Coupon, or any other proven strategies). Twitter believes THEY own your database (& can use it for whatever purpose they choose, including providing your customer data to 3rd party marketers).
